Phoenix Digital Systems South West
Phoenix supplies and supports workplace technology for businesses, schools and other organisations across South West England.
From a single office printer to a managed fleet of multifunction devices, we help customers choose practical equipment, compare purchase or leasing options and keep their print environment working after installation.
You do not need a model number or a finished technical specification before speaking to us. Tell us what you use now, what needs to change and what a successful result would look like.
Buy, lease or rent photocopiers, multifunction printers and office printers selected around the way your organisation works.
Phoenix supplies new equipment and can also offer refurbished photocopiers and printers where a professionally prepared, cost-conscious alternative fits the requirement. We can help compare A4 and A3 devices, colour and black-and-white output, scanning, paper capacity, finishing and security features.
Whether the requirement is one compact office printer or equipment across several locations, the aim is to provide enough capacity and functionality without paying for features that will rarely be used.
Arrange fault diagnosis, servicing and repairs for photocopiers, multifunction printers and office printers from most major brands.
Common enquiries include repeated paper jams, poor image quality, error messages, printing failures, scanning problems and machines that have become unreliable. Phoenix also offers routine servicing, preventative maintenance and service-only maintenance agreements for suitable equipment.
The make, model, postcode and a short description of the problem are enough to begin.
Understand what your organisation prints, how devices are being used and where time is being lost to toner ordering, meter collection, support calls or an inconsistent mix of equipment.
Our free, no-obligation initial assessment can review the current print estate and identify practical ways to simplify it. Managed Print can include remote meter monitoring, proactive toner delivery, coordinated servicing and clearer visibility across several devices or locations.
Print management software can add security, control and useful reporting to compatible printers and multifunction devices.
Phoenix supports PaperCut and can advise on secure print release, follow-me printing, pull printing, user authentication, print rules and usage reporting. These tools can help protect confidential documents, reduce abandoned print jobs and make it easier for users to collect work from a suitable device.
Software can form part of a new equipment project or improve an existing print environment.
Interactive displays bring presentations, collaboration and teaching content onto a large touchscreen.
Phoenix supplies display solutions for meeting rooms, classrooms, training spaces and shared working areas. We can help compare screen sizes, wall or mobile mounting, wired and wireless connectivity, video-conferencing requirements and the needs of the people using the room.
A successful installation is not just about choosing a screen. The display also needs to fit the space, connect easily to the equipment already in use and remain straightforward for regular users and visitors.
The fastest or most expensive device is not automatically the best choice.
A small team may need a dependable A4 office printer. A busy department may benefit from an A3 colour multifunction device with rapid scanning and finishing. An organisation with several sites may need a coordinated fleet rather than a collection of unrelated machines.
When discussing a requirement, we consider practical details such as:
This produces a more useful recommendation and reduces the risk of choosing equipment that is either regularly overloaded or unnecessarily complex.
Phoenix supplies new office equipment and can also discuss refurbished photocopiers and printers.
New equipment may be the best fit where an organisation wants a current model, a specific configuration or a planned replacement cycle. Refurbished equipment can offer a practical alternative for a secondary location, a cost-conscious replacement or a requirement that does not need the latest model.
The decision takes account of condition, expected workload, available functions and ongoing support, not only the purchase price.
News and advice
Practical updates about office print, servicing and workplace technology.
Artificial intelligence is finding its way into more and more everyday technology, and office printers and photocopiers are no exception. Manufacturers including HP, Sharp and Toshiba are already using AI to make multifunction printers smarter. In some cases, the technology is built into the machine itself. In others, the printer connects securely to cloud-based AI […]
Read articleFor years, the default choice for many offices has been an A3 floor-standing photocopier. They are familiar, flexible and can handle almost anything you throw at them. But there is a simple question worth asking before replacing your current machine: Do you actually need A3? For plenty of businesses, the answer is increasingly no. If […]
Read articleThe Sharp BP-71C65 is one of the latest generation of Sharp A3 colour multifunctional printers, designed for workplaces where printing and scanning are still an important part of the working day. It is fast, capable and packed with useful features, but what makes the BP-71C65 interesting is that many of those features are designed to […]
Read articleDifferent organisations prefer different ways to obtain equipment.
Buying outright may suit a customer that wants to own the asset and has capital available. Leasing spreads the equipment cost over an agreed period. Long-term rental provides another option for business use, while short-term and event hire can be considered for suitable temporary requirements.
Phoenix can explain the proposed equipment and service arrangement so that the complete package is clear before a decision is made.
Photocopiers and office printers need consumables, servicing and occasional technical support throughout their working life.
Phoenix can discuss support at the same time as the equipment proposal, helping customers plan for toner, routine servicing and faults rather than treating these as an afterthought. Where several devices are involved, a Managed Print assessment can provide a clearer view of usage, support needs and future replacement priorities.
Phoenix is a multi-brand supplier and can supply Sharp equipment where it fits the requirement.
This gives us the flexibility to begin with the organisation’s requirements rather than presenting the same machine for every enquiry. Phoenix also works with equipment from manufacturers including Toshiba, Develop, HP and Canon as part of the wider print environments we supply and support.
Phoenix works with organisations across Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Bristol and Bath.
Our coverage includes Penzance, Truro, Falmouth, Newquay, Plymouth, Torquay, Exeter, Taunton, Weston-super-Mare, Bristol, Bath, Yeovil and Weymouth, as well as surrounding areas throughout the South West.
Phoenix Digital Systems has been independently owned since 2016.
